My favorite way to use the elixirs is probably in baked goods…I love making clean, high vibe treats to enjoy for breaky and snacks. This banana bread recipe with detox + synergy is SO simple, easy to digest and filled with hormone balancing, mood enhancing + gut loving goodness. You can add any By Erika Elizabeth adaptogenic elixirs to your baked goods, pancakes and waffles. They infuse beautifully and add an adaptogenic, stress busting boost.

I’m loving a slice of this grain/gluten free, paleo friendly, banana bread with a drizzle of almond butter, crunchy salt flakes and a detox + synergy latte to wash it down. YUM! You can even make that detox + synergy latte dirty, with a shot of expresso ;)

GOLDEN SYNERGY BANANA BREAD

ingredients:

3 large, ripe bananas (if using smaller bananas, you may need 4-5) - you want it to yield about 1.5 cups of mashed banana

6 organic, pasture-raised eggs - at room temperature

3 tbsp. pure maple syrup

3 tbsp. almond butter OR sunflower seed butter if avoiding nuts

2 tsp. vanilla extract

3/4 cup coconut flour

1.5 tsp. cinnamon

3/4 tsp. baking soda

1 heaping tbsp. detox + synergy elixir

1/8 tsp. salt

method:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees + line a 9x5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper — allowing some to hang over the sides — lightly coat with coconut oil spray and set aside

In a large mixing bowl, mash bananas until smooth. Whisk in eggs, maple syrup, almond butter and vanilla. Gradually add in the coconut flour, cinnamon, baking soda, detox + synergy and salt. Whisk together and transfer to the prepared loaf pan.

Bake for 50-60 minutes. remove from oven and let bread cool for 20-30 minutes.
